Scoop & Paw – Service Policy

At Scoop & Paw, our goal is to provide reliable, professional, and transparent pet-waste removal for families in Tyandaga and Aldershot. These policies help us stay consistent, efficient, and fair to every customer.

1. Access to Your Yard

Customers agree to ensure safe, unobstructed access to their yard during the scheduled service window.

  • Dogs must be secured indoors.

  • Gates must be unlocked or accessible.

  • Unsafe conditions, aggressive pets, or locked gates may result in a billed visit since time and travel were incurred.

We do not enter homes, garages, or structures to retrieve bins or gain entry.

2. Service Schedule

We aim to visit your yard on the same day each week (or every other week for bi-weekly service).
Occasionally, routes may shift by one day to maintain efficiency or accommodate weather and holidays.
If that happens, your service will take place the day before or after your regular day — no notification required unless there’s a major change.

3. Weather Policy

We work in most weather conditions year-round.
If severe weather, extreme cold, or unsafe driving conditions occur, your visit may be delayed or skipped and rescheduled as soon as possible.

We don’t issue refunds for weather-related delays, as routes are simply shifted, not canceled.

4. Cancellations & Missed Visits

  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours before your next billing date to stop upcoming charges.

  • Missed access (locked gate, dog in yard, etc.) is treated as a completed visit.

  • No refunds are issued for missed access, late cancellations, or unused services.

5. Minimum Term

You can pause or cancel anytime. Please note that we do not offer refunds for partial services rendered within a billing cycle (e.g., monthly or weekly). When you subscribe to a recurring service, payment covers the full period. Cancellation of service will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and no pro-rated refunds will be issued for unused portions of that cycle. This ensures fairness for all customers and prevents one-time “spring cleanup” misuse of discounted recurring pricing.

6. Waste Disposal

All pet waste is bagged, sealed, and removed off-site for disposal — clean, odor-free, and fully contactless. This allows you to enjoy a spotless yard with zero bins, smells, or hassle.

7. Holidays

We observe major holidays and will adjust your service day accordingly. These will be communicated via text or email if your route is affected.

8. Communication

You’ll receive automated text updates when we’re on the way and when your cleanup is complete — including a photo of your locked gate for peace of mind.

9. Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for completed or billed services. Exceptions may be made for pet loss or relocation outside our service area — please reach out if this applies.

10. Commitment to Quality

If you ever feel your yard wasn’t serviced properly, please contact us within 24 hours so we can make it right.
